Using the Internet in Your Classroom

The term WebQuest was coined by Bernie Dodge in 1995. It is a tool for classroom instruction. In order to learn about WebQuests, you will partner with another person and actually do one.

You will split into pairs and each of you will take on two of the roles in the WebQuest. You only have 30 minutes to do this activity, then we will report back in a large group. Have lots of fun!

Click here to do the WebQuest on WebQuests.

Once you have completed the WebQuest on WebQuests, click below to go to the links page where you can...

  • See elementary level WebQuests you might want to use.
  • Explore searching tools on the Internet that will help you develop your own WebQuest.
