Science Fair Project Boards Made Easy

Variables - There are 3 different kinds.  The constant variables are all the things you kept the same during your experiment.  The manipulated variable is the one variable you changed.  The responding variable is the variable that changes when you change the manipulated variable.

Conclusion Future Investigations

 Here’s how your board needs to be set up:

Title

Pictures/Photographs - Add any pictures/photos that you took of your experiment that would help explain what you did.

Conclusion/Future Investigations - The conclusion tells what you learned from trying to answer your question.  Future Investigations means what else you would like to test or find out about if you had more time to work on your project.

Procedure - This is a step by step explanation of how you did your experiment.  Someone who has never done this experiment should be able to read this and do it on their own.

Data Chart/Graph -  Here's where you show your results in graph and or chart form.  This often helps you see your results more clearly.

Hypothesis - What do you think your result will be?  This is written before you begin your experiment.

Problem/Question - Write the question that you hope to answer with your experiment.
